It comes in natural colors of natural off black and sometimes a bit lighter. It is strong hair that is naturally curly. It is excellent for people with African ancestry, as it looks very natural, yet it is incredibly manageable.

  • Our Brazilian lace closure offer versatile parting to create the effect of a natural hairline. Clients have the option to part closures in the middle or on the side.
  • Color options are limitless because you can lighten or darken the closure to your desired color without fear of damaging your natural hair.
  • Closures help cover your own hair to prevent breakage and keep your hair healthy. Barby Hair closures require little or no maintenance.
  • Blending is the most important reason to own Barby Hair closure because blending is seamless. The scalp color and density looks very natural.

It's a bit challenging to choose your perfect shade of hair extensions from a computer screen and we understand that here at BarbyHair. To make the process easier, here are a few tips on how to choose the perfect shade of hair extensions.

1 We provide a hair color chart for your convenience. If you know what color you want and you're going to have them colored and styled after you buy them, then this may work for you. You can see all the colors online right there and make a choice and be on your way. No waiting for samples and color charts to get the job done.

2 If you are still not sure as products on screen do really have a little color aberration, you can send your pictures to our service email: sophia@barbyhair.com. Our experts will do their best to advise you. Keep in mind that it's better to do your best to match your hair color prior to ordering hair extensions as returning them for new ones may cost too much time.

3 If you are going for a wild color (i.e. shocking pink) or want to add extra highlights, then you could just buy that online without matching it up. For example, if your hair has a blend of colors in it, it's better for you to choose the middle tone color by blending with the medium tones so everything will flow together. For adding in highlights, simply add in a few lighter extension pieces.

1. Use your index fingers or a comb to make a U shaped part on the back of your head that spans from ear to ear. This U shaped part is known as a "track". Snap open each clip on one of your wefts.

2. Now place the clips along the line below your "track" and snap shut. The grip teeth in the clip should capture your own hair and secure the weft to your head.

3. Once all of your clips are bound, make another track and add in another weft following the same procedure. Continue to add wefts until the desired style is achieved.

4. Generally, three to four tracks are optimal to achieve a full layered look. Most people choose to add in wefts from the top of the head (often around the top of the ear) and work their way down.

5. Once the back is finished, you may use the single clip pieces to fill in the sides or the back as needed. Side pieces do not need to align to the tracks you made for the back of your head, but can be placed.

Mind your hair extensions to keep them in the best condition possible. They are valuable accessories to your look and are actually quite easy to maintain. All you need to know is a few basic care instructions as outlined below. These tips can help you keep human hair extensions looking fabulous and lasting longer.

1.  Be Extremely Gentle

When caring for hair extensions, brushing or styling the extensions gently can prevent the hair from falling out. Use a soft-bristled brush, start at the bottom and slowly work your way up. It is best to care for them more than you would your own hair.

 2. Wash with Moisturizing Hair Care Products

Wash your extensions a maximum of 3 times a week with moisturizing hair care products. Because your extensions are not getting natural oils from your scalp to keep your hair in good condition, this will keep the moisture in from shampooing while at the same time not drying them out from over-shampooing (If you want to visit more information about how to wash, click  here)!

3. Use a Heat Protectant

Use a heat protectant on hair extensions to reduce the risk of heat damage whenever you use a heated appliance on your hair.

4. Deep Condition

Once a week, carefully put your extensions in lukewarm water and apply a bit of conditioner all over. Leave for around 20 minutes then rinse and let dry naturally - using a blow dryer will damage them if used too much. If necessary, put the dryer on a cool setting (almost as if it was wind).

5. Keep Ends Trimmed

As careful as you are, your human-hair extensions will most likely get split ends. To avoid letting the damage move up the hair shaft, trim the ends every 6-10 weeks. You can do it yourself using salon scissors, or go to a hairstylist.

1. Burn the hair for the smell.

Choose a small strand of hair and burn it. If the hair is 100% human it smells like a barbecue; if not, it smells like plastic.

2. Check the ashes after burning the hair.

If the hair is 100% human, you can twist the ashes into powder; if not, the ashes will stay as a caking.

3. Heat the hair.

Use a flat iron to heat the hair. If the hair can be heated at 220 degrees and without a paste it is real.
Note: When you do such a test, a small strand of hair is enough.
